We’ve got a big day planned in the taproom tomorrow and wanted to give you all a days notice to cancel your plans and get down here.
Over the years, our beloved King`s Head has evolved from an entirely stainless-fermented and conditioned Double Oat Brown Ale, to a mix of stainless and bourbon barrel-aged blends, and has now arrived entirely as a bourbon barrel blend.
This year`s version was blended from a variety of Kentucky Bourbon Barrels, to achieve probably the most decadent version to date. With tons of chocolate flavors and aromas by design, this version was backed up with coconut and beautiful Madagascar vanilla. This blend is just straight-up awesome and will continue to mature and get better over the next year. We have a pretty good idea this is going to pair well with @sidepiecekitchen cheesecake. Who, btw, will also be here at noon with biscuits and cheesecake and who knows what else.
Last but not least, we’re releasing a new version of our Sports Hat in Navy. We once said that we didn’t know what Navy was, nor did we care to, but it seemed only fitting to make a hat reminiscent of one that sat on a King’s Head. King Felix. Tomorrow at noon. In person only and 1pp. See you here. ...
We’ve got a new BAPTIZED IN BLOOD IPA in cans today along with some returning favorites and new crops to go along with the nice weather.
4-packs of CATHEDRAL kolsch, AS WITHIN, SO WITHOUT galaxy xpale, and BAPTIZED IN BLOOD are available in the taproom and for shipping within WA state via the online store.
XPale crops are also available in the online store for shipping nationwide.
Come by the taproom for a 4-pack and a crop tee so you can show your bellybutton off this weekend. ...
We’re open normal hours today (2-9 pm) and it’s feeling like a Demonteller kind of Monday. Come grab a beer and a 4-pack - this batch is tasting really exceptional. ...
We’ve seen your comments and heard your complaints in the Taproom. What people really want from beer week is not cellared bourbon barrel aged bottles, but pin casks of dark mild on the bar. Your prayers have finally been answered - a single cask of Helmsman is on the bar and ready to make your dark (mild) dreams come true.
We’re also tapping a new draught only IPA we’re calling IN MY AFTERLIFE. In My Afterlife was brewed with Pilsner Malt, Flaked Rye and Malted Oats. Hopped in the kettle with Nectaron and Nelson, and dry-hopped with more of the same along with a touch of Mosaic. Fermented with our new favorite yeast strain. The perfect blend of dank and tropical.
Have a rad long weekend everyone. If you picked up a new record @nwterrorfest bring it in and we’ll put it on. ...
Today’s on-prem/1pp beer week cellared release is wildly limited but worth coming down for. 2021 MS and the 2022 peanut butter and cocoa nib variant.
Come have a beer and then join us @pine_box before moving on to @nwterrorfest . It’s going to be a damn good Thursday. ...
TODAY’s selection available for on prem consumption or 1pp to go is GOD IS 7 and 2021 KING’S HEAD.
God is 7 is a blend of bourbon barrel aged stouts infused with maple toasted coconut. King’s Head is our double oat brown ale aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for 1 year.
Both beers will be available when we open at 2pm today and are very limited.
See you at Interbay! ...
Happy Beer Week everyone! To celebrate we’ll be releasing a couple of cellared bottles each day for on prem consumption or 1pp to go.
TODAY’s selection is BEYOND SPACETIME, BEYOND SELF and THE STALKER IN THE SNOWS.
Beyond Spacetime is an English style barleywine brewer in collaboration with @cellarmakerbrewing . The Stalker is a blend of barleywine and imperial stouts that we originally released almost a year ago.
Both beers will be available when we open at 2pm and there are only a few cases of each so maybe don’t dawdle. Hope to see you in the taproom! ...
In the taproom today we’re tapping the West Coast Pilsner collaboration we brewed with our good friends @ravennabrewing - AIR OF THE TRUE !!
Crisp aromas of citrus, melon, and peach blossom swirl against a backdrop of bright and bready pilsner malt. Malted rye brings a lovely bit of spice and a rustic heartiness that balances the dry-hop additions of Mosaic and Riwaka. The finish is dry and refreshing, enticing another sip.
If you weren’t able to make it over to the @ravennabrewing pig roast yesterday, we’ll have AIR OF THE TRUE in 4-packs and on draught in Interbay. ...
We’ve got a really good looking tap list to get your weekend started and 10 different beers in cans to keep it going.
Swing by the taproom for a beer and a 4-pack. A grapefruit Saison in the sunny beer garden seems like the right move for a Friday afternoon. ...
You guys, it’s really nice outside and Visual Field is tasting pretty pretty pretty good. Swing by the taproom to have your hazy pale ale dreams come true and take home a 4-pack or two. ...
We’ve got new batches of a few of our favorite beers today (SECOND DEATH helles, VISUAL FIELD pale ale, and DEMONTELLER foudre-aged saison), second death shirts, and the return of our patio shade and misters.
Second Death is one of our favorite beers to release each year. This Hell-Style lager is brewed with 100% German Pilsner malt, lightly hopped with German Tettnang, and fermented with our favorite lager yeast. We’ve got this beer on the @lukr.cz and in t-shirt form.
VISUAL FIELD is a juicy and aromatic Pale Ale brewed with a large percentage of malted oats and generously hopped and dry-hopped with Mosaic and Comet.
DEMONTELLER is… fucking DEMONTELLER! If you absolutely must know more - it’s a mixed culture saison hopped with galaxy and mosaic, and fermented and aged in one of our foudres, creating a delicate oak character that balances out a subtle acidity.
4packs of all three beers are available online for shipping within WA State and in the taproom. Second Death is on draught, but our tap list is overflowing at the moment, so you can get cans of Visual Field and Demonteller for on-prem consumption.
Also, we put the shade back on our “patio” ...

Also, we put the shade back on our “patio” and can turn on the misters at your request. Thursday is the new whothehellcareswhatdayitis - Come have a beer. ...
Awhile back we went up to @structuresbrewing and brewed a Canadian-style lager. It’s exactly what you’d imagine but better. Canadian malt, a little rice and corn, a McKenzie brothers reference and a @botch_band name for good measure.
We’ve got TO OUR FRIENDS IN THE GREAT WHITE NORTH available on draught and a few cases of 4packs only in our Interbay taproom. ...
And just like that, it sucks again outside. It’s pretty adorable that some of you thought it was summer - we haven’t even made it to Juneuary yet!
So how do you spend a rainy and cold Friday afternoon? Might we suggest just drinking a ton of Helmsman Dark Mild and watching the trains go by? It’s 3.7% ABV but has enough body to stick to your ribs until @dantinipizza opens at 4 and you can fill your belly with some of the best pizza Seattle has to offer. ...
We’ve got two beers in cans today as well as a reprint of our Crucifixation shirts. Crucifixation IPA is a big tropical, half hazy IPA and our Forbidden Fruit grapefruit saison is a wildly drinkable, crushable beer and you’ll fuckin’ love it. All are available in our taproom as well as in the online store.
Crucifixation IPA was brewed with a combination of Two Row, Pilsner, Chit, Raw Wheat, Flaked Barley, and Malted Oats. It was hopped in the kettle with Mosaic and a touch of Sabro, and heavily dry hopped with Mosaic and Cashmere. The result is a beer that`s tropical and juicy, without being heavy. Hybrid Hazy? Is that what they`re calling it these days? We just call it an IPA that is insanely quenching and drinkable.
Forbidden Fruit was brewed with Pilsner, Malted Wheat and oats, with additions of sugar in the kettle, and hopped with Citra. Grapefruit juice was added during the whirlpool, and additions of more juice and zest were added to the tank as it conditioned. Refreshing, citrusy and perfect for the (hopefully) warm weather coming up.
4packs are available for shipping within WA state. Shirts are available within the lower 48 if you want a shirt of a nun with black eyes crying blood. ...
Today we’re releasing our collab IPA with @ridgewood_bottle_and_tap - THE SIREN!
The Siren was brewed with our dear friends at Ridgewood Bottle and Tap to celebrate their 3rd anniversary. Our soon to be new neighbors at our Phinney location, The Ridgewood folks have been huge supporters of Holy Mountain since they opened their doors. This IPA was made with a combination of Pilsner, two row, wheat and oats. Hopped heavily with Mosaic and Strata throughout. We encourage you to enjoy one out on their magnificent patio next time you’re up in Phinney Ridge.
4-packs are available online, in the taproom, and at Ridgewood. ...
Today we’re releasing a fresh batch of HELMSMAN, our Dark Mild.
Helmsman is brewed with British Maris Otter, along with a combination of chocolate and crystal malts. It was hopped ever so lightly with EKG, and fermented with one of our favorite British ale strains. Helmsman is rich, refreshing, and phenomenally flavorful. It’s also, obviously, Hudson’s favorite beer and he’s extremely excited about it. ...
Ok, we’ve got some nice weather coming our way, and we’ve got a super cool pop up this afternoon, as well as a killer tap list.
Starting at 4pm, our friends Cooper and Ryan from @conjure_seattle will be here serving up their absolutely killer and delicious dogs. Bat for the cycle, order all of them and add that salad.
Beer, hot dogs, cool tunes spinning as usual, and lots of sunshine. What more do you need? Swing on by, we’re looking forward to seeing you! ...
We’re bringing back one of our favorite IPAs from last year today - SERPENTS AND BLOSSOMS.
We brewed this West Coast IPA with a simple malt bill of Pilsner malt and Two Row, with just a touch of flaked oats thrown in for body. The shining stars of the show are Cascade and Galaxy hops added late in the kettle and also for the dry-hop. This one has notes of skipping out of work on a sunny April Thursday to drink a beer by the train tracks with hints of really fucking hating instagram. ...
